Profiles4Care has partnered with Australia based ebilities, a world leader in the design and development of online mental agility tests, to assist employers in the health and social care sectors to hire, develop and retain candidates with high potential and the confidence and ability to make the right decisions at work.
Profiles4Care is already well established in the sector, providing assessments that identify values-based behaviours that Health and Social Care staff are expected to demonstrate to provide high quality care and which impact on the success of an employee’s training, development, and retention.
Marc Jones, Managing Director of Profiles4Care explained; “Finding and keeping the best employees remains the central issue in the sector and many employers are making great strides in improving frontline care by taking a values led approach to recruiting. However, employers must also look at how they will develop their services and identify capable managers and leaders now and for the future. Our partnership with ebilities allows us to offer clients the means to do both simply and effectively.”
ebilities’ assessments, the Mental Agility Series (MAS), are designed for use anywhere in the world to identify high potential candidates with learning agility, problem-solving skills and the confidence in their abilities to make timely decisions without the ‘derailing’ influence of overconfidence or underconfidence. The tests also assess the applicant’s language and numerical abilities.
Clare Lewis, Director of ebilities said; “Everyday employees at all levels of an organisation are making more and more decisions and there’s no escaping the possibility of an overconfident employee getting a decision wrong, or an underconfident employee not making a decision at all. Either scenario can cost a company dearly. This is especially relevant in the health and social care sector where we are talking about the care and wellbeing of people. Employers should be looking at how to mitigate that risk through more informed and insightful recruiting processes.”
The assessments will be available to clients within Profiles4Care’s existing online platform so that results can be generated and assessed in a single secure environment.
The complete set of tests costs just £20 per candidate, with discounts starting at five or more purchased in advance.
We have integrated ebilities into the Profiles4Care control room, so it’s as simple as selecting an existing candidate from your account to send the assessment to by email. The final report will be displayed and stored in your Profiles4Care account.
